Marva Hinton is a contributing writer for Education Week and the host of the ReadMore podcast, an interview show that primarily features authors of color. She has also reported for School Library Journal, National Public Radio and various radio stations across the southeast. She has an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she double majored in journalism and political science. She lives in South Florida with her husband and their two young children.
