About Ambra Green, Ph.D.

Ambra L. Green, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Special Education within the College of Education at The University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Green is a national special education scholar with particular expertise in research focused on behavior disorders, positive behavioral interventions and supports, teacher use of evidence-based practices, and disproportionality in special education referrals and exclusionary discipline practices. In addition to providing professional development at the school, district, and regional levels, she has provided professional special education consultation in a number of capacities, including for United States Senators. She has experience working within the U.S. Department of Education Office for Special Education Programs (OSEP) and serves on the OSEP Center on PBIS equity workgroup.
