James Paul Gee is the Mary Lou Fulton Presidential Professor of Literacy Studies and a Regents’ Professor at Arizona State University.  He is an elected member of the National Academy of Education.  He works in the areas of linguistics, literacy, learning, and digital.  Among many other books he is the author of What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy.
